Hi, I'm Khristine.
When I first entered the beauty industry, I quickly realized that learning a technique is only one part of becoming a successful artist. Building confidence, creating an exceptional client experience, and learning how to run a business are just as important.
That's why I created Beauty Fx Academy.
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Cosmetologist, Licensed Body Art Practitioner, and owner of Beauty Fx Ink, I've spent years combining artistry, safety, and education to help clients feel more confident—and now I'm passionate about helping aspiring artists do the same.
My goal isn't simply to teach procedures. It's to mentor students, share the lessons I learned through experience, and help you build a career you're genuinely proud of.

When I started in permanent makeup, I was a nurse who loved beauty. I was passionate, motivated, and absolutely determined. But I made so many mistakes that cost me money, time, and confidence — mostly because I didn't have someone in my corner who had already been through it.
I overcharged for things I should have offered affordably. I undercharged for things I was worth more for. I didn't know how to market myself, handle difficult client situations, or build policies that actually protected my time.
Beauty Fx Academy was born from that frustration. I wanted to create a space where students don't have to learn everything the hard way. Where you get technique and business together — with a real person to ask questions to, long after the last day of class.
